Santa Rosa Plateau Field Trip
Today we took a field trip to the Santa Rosa Plateau!
Shooting stars
Wild hyacinth this is a vernal pool specific wildflower (not goldfields) - it has white pollen! ;) a LARGE vernal pool planaria Cyclops. Their eyes were too small to count. red maids lomatium, a host plant for swallowtail butterflies!

Engleman Oaks Chocolate Lillies! buttercups - they are pollinated by the RAIN! ;)
