Fall in Orange County

On October 6 Reggie and I did a whirlwind tour of some of Orange County's wild places. The day began with a Native American Plant uses hike along Serrano Creek...

Then we went for a short hike in Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park along the Borrego Trail...

Yes, this is the trail where mom said I tried to kill her!
Then we went to the Tree of Life plant sale where we didn't take any pictures. Afterwards we went next door to Caspers Wilderness Park to meet with Ranger Ryan to scope out the spot where Back to Natives will be doing an Oak Restoration Project..

Then we drove along Live oak Canyon Road (yes, this really is Orange County!)

To Santiago Canyon Road, to the end of Silverado Canyon Road, where we went for a short hike along the Maple Springs Road.

The End for now...
